We are incredibly honoured to announce that today Advocacy Australia has been named a triple finalist in the Communication and Public Relations Australia annual 2025 Golden Target Awards, Australia’s oldest and most prestigious public relations and communications awards.
Our Justice for Biddy campaign has been recognised in two categories: Public Affairs & Advocacy Campaign and Not-for-Profit Campaign.
With our Co-founders; Clare Collins and Alice Collins – “The Collins Girls”, proud finalists in the Not-for-Profit Team of the Year category.
The Golden Target Awards applaud the crème-de-la-crème of strategic thinking, creative execution, and communication excellence nationwide. In 2022, our Asbestos Education Committee’s National Asbestos Awareness Month Campaign was honoured with two GTAs, and we are humbled to again be recognised at this world-class level.
To stand in such prestigious company – alongside organisations including Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF), Cancer Council NSW, DrinkWise, Australian Cancer Research Foundation, ImpactInstitute, Red Nose Australia, Local Government Association of Queensland, RACQ, Orange Sky Australia, Climate Council and more – is a privilege and honour.
This recognition shines a spotlight on the impact of Justice for Biddy, a campaign that gave Biddy back her voice, empowered her mother Rebekah, and helped deliver systemic reforms for victims’ rights across NSW.
We remain deeply grateful to our doners, supporters, Philip Donato and his amazing team, and the courageous media, including 7NEWS Spotlight, Daily Telegraph, Mamamia, 7NEWS Central West, Central Western Daily.
