We are deeply honoured to announce that Advocacy Australia’s Justice for Biddy campaign, nominated in three categories, has been recognised with three national awards at the Communication and Public Relations Australia (CPRA) 2025 Golden Target Awards – Australia’s most prestigious celebration of strategic communication and public relations excellence.

This recognition stands as a powerful testament to the strength of justice, determination, and passion, proof that when truth is pursued with courage and compassion, change truly is possible.

The Justice for Biddy campaign gave Biddy back her voice, empowered her mother Rebekah, her father Dom, and helped drive systemic reforms for victims’ rights across NSW.

We are profoundly grateful to Phil Donato MP, his Chief of Staff Brett Cooke, The Hon. Rose Jackson MLC, Minister for Mental Health, her Chief of Staff Paddy Gartrell, Julia Milleta, Carol Gibbons, Lubo Varga from NSW Government Petitions, our donors, supporters, and the 40,004 Australians who signed the petitions.

But most importantly, Justice for Biddy would not have been possible without the courageous journalists who ensured Biddy’s story was heard: Michael Usher, Tim Sheridan, Andrea Keir, Cydonee Mardon, Joanna Woodburn, Bek Day, Grace Dudley, Lauren Evans, Michelle Cook, Toni Ambrogetti, Sophie Upcroft, Stephanie Gardiner, Alex Mitchell, Jack Gramenz, Darren Cutrupi, and Giuseppa Nastasi.
