This end of financial year ‘Help Advocacy Australia Help Others’ by making a tax-deductible donation to support our work so you can help people like Biddy Porter’s mum, Rebekah.
Your financial support will enable Advocacy Australia to achieve our mission and vision. You can make a donation to support the work of Advocacy Australia to help Australians in need or you can support our Asbestos Education Committee’s life-saving education initiatives. Please donate below.
Unlike most charities, Advocacy Australia receives no funding. Yet we tirelessly advocate for the living victims of heinous crimes – families left behind, silenced by systems that fail to deliver justice.
Advocacy Australia:
🧡 Launched the Justice for Biddy Porter Campaign – helping Biddy’s mother, Rebekah, speak her daughter’s name publicly for the first time.
✍ Initiated the Justice For Biddy Porter Parliament of NSW E-PETITION with support from Phil Donato MP – and generated over 21,500 signatures.
📺 Secured 7NEWS Spotlight story with Michael Usher along with many other significant media stories across Mamamia, Sunday Telegraph, ABC and more
🏛️ Attended NSW Parliament as MPs debated the urgent reforms we helped initiate.
Because of Advocacy Australia’s work:
👩⚖️ A coronial inquest into Biddy’s killing will proceed 15- 19 June 2026 with the NSW State Coroner, Her Honour Magistrate O’Sullivan, presiding alongside the same legal team behind the Westfield Bondi Junction Inquest, with Counsel Assisting Dr Peggy Dwyer SC
⚖️ Laws have been amended to improve oversight of forensic killers
⚖️ A parliamentary enquiry into the Mental Health Review Tribunal was announced on 5 June 2026 to improve oversight of forensic killers. Submissions open until July 6 2026.
👨👩👧👦 Other families, like that of Emerald Wardle, have stepped forward and found their voices.
We do all of this voluntarily, covering our own costs, because the victims deserve more than silence.
From Biddy to Emerald, and the many others yet to come – we will not stop fighting. But we can’t keep going without your support.
